OECD issues Recommendation and Guidance on Electronic Authentication: On the 12th of June 2007, the OECD Council adopted a new Recommendation on Electronic Authentication. The Recommendation recognises the role that electronic authentication can play in developing trust in online transactions by providing certainty and strengthening protection of information security and individuals’ personal data. Chris Connolly and Peter van Dijk were the co-ordinating editors of the Internet Law Bulletin (ISSN 1035 2155, published by LexisNexis Butterworths) for the 60 issues of Volumes 1 - 5 from January 1998. Chris Connolly is currently on the editorial board for the Internet Law Bulletin (Volume 6 onwards).
