Public web-site visitors

Galexia has its own web server - we do not outsource the hosting of our public web site. Our server, like most web servers, may collect the following information about visitors in log files:

  • your IP address or your ISP's address
  • the date and time of your visit to the site
  • the pages you access on our site and documents downloaded
  • the operating system and type of browser you are using.

Galexia will not use this information to identify users, or share the information with any third party unless required by law. However, the server's access logs may be analysed to guard against the possibility of malicious attacks on our site, and to ensure the security of our client extranets. Additionally, in the event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our web server's logs.

Galexia's website uses cookies for basic traffic analysis.

We will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent.

Unless you are a Galexia client using our encrypted extranets, this site does not provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet.

Clients accessing our secure extranet

In addition to the information collected above, Galexia collects identifying details of all clients logging in to our secure extranet. Our web server’s logs will record all pages viewed and documents downloaded.

Documents uploaded to the secure extranet and email messages sent to client email forums will be available to Galexia staff and all users of that particular client extranet.
